I was calling on prices for various front end loaders for my TC29D. I was asked if my tractor has "Power Beyond". He said I would need it for the loader joysticks. What is "Power Beyond" and does it come standard on a TC29D or is it something that needs to be added? I'm assuming it's something different than the rear remote hydraulics. I could ask my dealer, but it's long distance and I'm guessing I'll get a faster answer here!

Yes your tractor has power beyond. If you look on the right hand side of the tractor, below and a little ahead of the platform or step, you will see a block with three plugs on it. That is where the hydraulics are tapped into for a loader. One plug is for pressure to the control valve, one is for return to sump, and the other is power beyond. Power beyond is for sending pressure to another control valve such as a backhoe attachment. This is different than return to sump in that return to sump is for returning oil that is relieved by the relief valve in an over pressure such as dead ending a cylinder. You will need a control valve plumbed for power beyond, that is why they are asking you. Without a second control valve power beyond is just returned to sump.
