Power beyond port/ grapple hook up

Cabelas Lm43h tractor… connecting a grapple… I want a true 3rd function with open and close of grapple working w/o and independently of loader and not using a diverter valve! Q:? Does this tractor have a power beyond port? If so where located? I’ve been given misinformation and trying to define my tractors system and order kit/parts needed to set up grapple! Thanks in advance!

Of your tractor has one, which isn't necessarily a given, it'll likely be off the FEL valve body. Follow your joystick down to find the valve body and then try and identify the make & model of the valve body to cross reference it's abilities. The tractor itself is actually made by TYM I believe.

Your FEL valve body most likey (not a given) has a PB port to run your 3PT hitch. The most likely routing of the hoses are from the pump to the FEL valve then to the 3ph. In order to run any down stream hydraulic valves, the up stream valve has to be a power beyond valve. You will have 3 hoses (not including the ones to the cylinders) attached to a power beyond valve - one is the incoming pressure line, the out going pressure line (power beyond line), and the return to tank (or sometimes called the drain) line.

Don't have your tractor but my Branson 6530 has an 18x1.5 inlet plug and a 20x1.5 return to the sump plug on the FEL valve body.....easy to see that they are just plugs and not performing any function. Those fittings are straight thread with O-ring. You will need a hydraulic control as the flow is directly from the hyd pump and back to the sump. Adapters to NPTF are easily obtained from hyd. suppliers on the www.
