I just added Power Beyond so I can split wood and continue to use my loader and grapple all at the same time. The power beyond kit comes with a 1/2" female coupler and a 3/8" male connector. I think it is odd to have different side QD's! I do not have any 3/8 inch female fittings for my hose so I need to buy one. I notice the 3/8 inch size is rated for 6 gpm and 3000 psi. Well, I need 10 gpm to operate the splitter so should I change the Power Beyond port to 1/2"? Any suggestions?

I see a green tractor like mine. My power beyond actually has three fittings, with the 3/8 being a dump back to tank, bypassing the 3pth. The other two are normally (no back hoe) plugged into each other, which keeps the 3pth in the circuit along with every thing else. I just series my wood splitter with these two full size QDs. Most time I only run at 12-1500 rpm to split wood anyway, depending on the size of the splitter cylinder (I have three)

I have since learned that on another thread. I have also been warned against hooking it up that way. Evidently, the splitter return valves aren't made for high pressure. Must learn more. I love my tractor and my splitter and I'm disappointed I can't use the three point hitch with the splitter hooked up.
