I recently purchased a 2003 G100 with 54" deck. Thought it would be no problem to find the bagger for it as I can still get parts for my older deere. I can't find the power flow anywhere and they tell me it is no longer available. Called JD and they gave me another # to tell the dealer to use and the dealer says the same thing. Does anyone know where I can get an original/aftermarket power flow bagger system for my unit, or maybe a model from a newer year that I can slightly modify to fit?

JD will keep service parts around for a long time, but bundles (attachements) not so much.

A G100 was based off the old Deere GT242/GT262/GT275 frame/chassis. A bagger frame and hopper from one of them will work. A bagger from a 265/285/320/325/345 will work too. GT's never had a 54" deck though, so you'll need a 54" PowerFlow from an older 345. Just make sure it's for the old 54" deck, not the newer 54C Convertible deck. If you could find a complete bagger off of a 345 w/ 54 that would work. Just trying to give you some eBay seach options.

Some dealers have a lot of used baggers around, so you could probably piece one together. Dealers can also do a locator for a bundle number, as I've had them do it for me before. Make sure your dealer searched other dealer inventory for one.

hi, where do you live. I am in Connecticut and bought two baggers way back when homedepot was discontinuing the G100. Let me know, and I can see if I have a complete bagger system. Howie Z hzimnoch@yahoo.com

Went through the same thinking. Looked at the powerflow when it was available. Didn't like the design taking power off the mower deck spindle pulley, then twisting the belt 90 degrees to transmit the power to the power flow fan. The design looked weak, and not really the John Deere engineering I am used to. Plus just the powerflow unit was $550, 1999 dollars. The hopper, or cart was additional money, whichever you chose. I wound up purchasing a cyclone rake, $975, for my JD built Scotts 2554, got the trak vac metal chute housing for the JD 54" deck. It fit like a glove. And have never looked back. The cyclone rake has been one of the best investments It have ever purchased. It did all it said, and has sucked up boo-coo leaves. The power flowa do pop up on ebay now and then if that's what you want for grass collection, but foe leaves, the cyclone rake has been very, very good to me.
