I will keep this short as possible.
Kubota G1800S 17hp Diesel starts good idles good but when cutting grass or blowing snow at higher RPM every so often it goes though a major loss in power to the point of almost stalling? If i throttle back for a few seconds it comes out of it normaly after a few trys and could run good for 30 minutes?
I changed fuel filters last year and air filter is clean?
any sugestions????

Could be moisture in the fuel system...could also have some air .. Does it have a water separator? Even with the new fuel filter last year could be water from the winter cold.

All it takes is 1 bad can of fuel. I filled up my dually at a supermarket in town( new Tanks) and I regretted that decision for 2 Days pulling the camper on poor fuel! After that I only purchase diesel @ a high volume station now! Some places sell very low quality fuel.

Had power loss issues with my G1900 a few years ago. Local Kubota mechanic suggested a deisel fuel treatment/injector cleaner. After 1 tank I was good to go. I now always at a desel fuel treatment/cleaner.

My first thought is a bacteria farm growing in your tank or tanks plugging the inlet and as the tractor moves around the crud is sloshing back and forth and stays away from the inlet screen until it stops moving.

My second thought is to install the Racor diesel fuel water separator
filter which can filter down to 2 micron at 60 gallons per hour with
the model 500FG filter which removes all the garbage and crud with
a vengence. The filter were 4 bucks $US last year and they last for a long time.

Adding a can of Seafoam to each tankfull for 16 gallons of diesel will solve your fuel issues.

Make sure you don't have debris in the tank and also crud in the fuel line.
Unless the filter was just changed I would change it again. Also check that you mechanical fuel pump is working. Not sure if yours is electric or mechanical on the engine.:)

I have good fuel as i run it in my other tractor

I think it has an inline fuel pump or booster it could be bad?
if i pinch the in fuel line i can make it sound the same like its starving for fuel.
i think i will start there and then filters
thanks
