Backhoe Power of backhoe??

I think I was a little over 10,000 lbs.

That is about what I figured, since I was not including the trailer.

I see you have load-levelers on your hitch, and I assume 2-axle electric
brakes. I can't tell what your tow vehicle is...how did it tow? If you
set your load up for about 500# weight on the hitch, do the levelers help
in any way?

I have a DK 35se/hst with a KB-2485bh. The hydraulic line tagged with a red cable tie is the output line off the A rear remote and the return line goes into the reservoir directly INSTEAD of thought the B remote. This is accomplished by running the return line into the opening that is set from the factory as the vent port on the hydraulics. The vent is then moved from the right side of the case to the left, and uses a smaller vent setup. This is a kit Kioti offers to allow for better flow through to the backhoe and consequently more speed and power than is generated by having both the A & B remotes in use. I would ask your selling dealer about the kit and if it was installed already, or if he or you can do it to your rig. It is not a big deal to add the kit.

CM - can you post a pic of where the lines go you are discussing. I'm interested and will e-mail with my dealer. The pics may very well help.

I bet I had about 1,000 lbs on the hitch. It towed well. My truck is an 08 GMC Seirra 1500 4x4 and contained the tow package. I haven't tried to tow that kind of weight without that hitch (load-levelers) but I believe I could tell it was working when going around corners and on unlevel road. The trailer had brakes on one axle and did well stopping me. I had purchased and installed a Prodigy 3 controller which did a good job in setting the brake action and how it worked.

For now, before I can get to a pic and posting same: if you face the tractor's differential you will see a red tube coming out of the right side of the reservoir for the hydraulic pump. To your left will be two female remotes for hydraulic lines to be attached to. The bottom connector is marked A and the upper one B. If you have hydraulic lines coming out of both A & B you do NOT have the kit installed. The kit allows one hydraulic line (the line usually identified as the input line by being tagged with a red cable tie) to connect to the A port and the other line would then go to where you see the red rubber vent tube; which gets replaced with the kit's adapter fitting to accommodate the remaining second,(return hydraulic line).
Note: it is possible your tractor's setup is different than mine but I believe they are similar if not the same- your dealer will know for sure.
