Posted this in the Build it yourself forum, but I think It would be better here...
Getting stuff together to hopefully build a 72" power rake....got a couple of questions....
-RPM, according to my research, the right angle gearbox used on the JD/Harley/Woods Rakes is a 2:1, and the chain drive is a 1:1...could somebody verify this? Land Pride seems to use a 1.93:1 Gearbox and the same 1:1 on the chain case...
What seperates the good ones from the ones that "dont work quite as good" seems like everyone loves the harley...not so much on the Land Pride & other brands...Just want to make sure I build it right the first time...
