anyone know of aftermarket addon. I use handcontrols as legs are bad,just like my dancing. I have M.S. and use ranger on my 17 acres Tks.

Jackson powersteering (googlable) may be able to cook up an adaptation for you. He does them for old tractors. His systems are on the spendy side, but work very well on tractors. He falls into the "good people" bin by the way.

You would probably need a new steering column with the hydraulic valving in it, a PS pump and brackets, yards of hose and dozens of connectors and a steering cylinder with mounts. All that stuff would add up to $1500-2000 for quality parts. Install would be additional (500?). Not a cheap project to do right and from scratch.

A cheaper way might be to get a wrecked Kubota and adapt the PS from it.

A different approach might be to have a high school shop class or local community college mod the ranger over the span of a semester. They could probably adapt in a small car power rack and pinion etc.
