I just fixed my dad's tractor by following your advice. No leaks and steers great. I would like to add when you are reassembling you need to mark where the hole is in the holding ring because you need to start the bent end of the holding ring at this point and rotate the assemble to pull the ring in. THANKS!!!!!

Having the same problem with my 383. Did this fix the problem? Do you remember the part number for the seal kit?
Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
