My power comes from a block located under the seat. Directly below your right leg. Sorry no picture. The system is the factory set -up from Kubota. The return line from the cylinder comes back and dumps back into the top of the trans. Parts are no longer availabe from Kubota for the power steering cyl. The hyd for the 1200 loader uses a crank mounted pump, and seperate storage tank. You have a well built piece of equipment.

I am confused, doesnt take much! Thanks for any help Mark

TPS LLC (tractor power steering) Hartford S.D. 605-359-1142 there is a forum on tractor net , I cant get it to u for some reason, just google power steering for kubota l245 dt it should lead you there, Do you have a FEL on yours, can you tell me how to tap into the hyd, I do not want to add another pump, let me know what you think after looking at it Thanks Mark

Thanks, I do have and FEL and all my hyd are powered off the same pump on the right hand side of the tractor. I will probably tap into the high pressure side of the hard line coming off the pump and insert a T to run to the power steering. Then insert a T in the return port under the seat (where the FEL return dumps into) and hook the FEL return and the PS return into that.

looks like pretty sweet deal I just hope I am smart enough to pull it off, did you find the forum with the pictures, and the TPS site, how do you tap into hard line from pump? I have the exhaust that goes under and back of tractor that is going to cause problems with the power steering cylinder and linkage might have to switch the exhaust so it goes up, if you can put this power steering on could you show me pictures?

When I get ready, I will probably pull the hard line off the tractor and have some one install the T for me. I dont have the tools to do it myself. I did find the TPS site, but didnt see the 245DT under the Kubota section, I am figuring the necessary cylinder was under the compact tractor section. This may be a summer project, as I have a bunch for my little tractor to do over the next 4 to 6 weeks.

You can not just T into the high pressure line. It will not work. You need a priority flow divider. If you put in a T, the hydraulic pressure will just go to the circuit that is not doing any work.

The link below is my buddies tractor, I put a similar unit from these folks on my B6100. I think he lists where to put the lines but he has a pump on the front that runs the loader. All his OEM pump does is the 3ph and now the power steering. On my tractor I put it into the power beyond port but if I use the loader I lose power steering. I plan on adding a small import car power steering pump in place of the belt idler pulley, just haven't got there yet. You can see my current setup by looking at the link in my signature. Rick at Tractorpowersteering.com is very knowledgeable and helpful.
