Kioti Model# LB1914. mfgd 1996. Power steering slow to react to steering wheel turns. When trying to turn the wheels do not react when the steering wheel is turned. Fluid is good.
Have to stop if I want to turn sharp. Appreciate any suggestions. thanx

is there a filter in that system?

double check oil level

check for cyl packing bypassing

lastly, check pressure

Does not show filter in the manual. Looking at the sight glass it's up, in the case seems to be okay. What do you mean cyl. packing bypassing? Pressure? You mean put a pressure gauge at end of the hyd. hose? The workshop manual shows steering motor attach to steering wheel shaft. Mine does not have that. It (steering motor) appears to be at the very end after a universal joint at the front of the tractor. I've heard there was a change but can't find any drawings. Could a bypass valve be the culprit? My hydraulics seem to be fine. (bucket & rear lift.) Appreciate your time.

I'd get a manual that covered your variation before I proceeded.

Yes , it all operates off the one pump for all hyd. right next/behind the trans. A friend more knowledgeable than I said he thought the piece in the front is the directional valve. two hoses in and two hoses going out. I'm looking for another shop manual for it. Thanx
