My 28 year old electric Handy power washer gave out and I replaced it with a gasser. The old one had a 30' long hose that I stored around the handle. It was convenient and easy. The new one has a low profile handle and a 50' hose, that will be a bit of hassle to get around the handle.

How do you store your 50' hose?

I have heavier hydraulic style hose. I just make large tidy loops and drape the thing over anything handy. I have an air fitting made up with a pressure washer fitting to blow the hose out, this time of year after every use.

Unless it's a HUGE reel, most reels just impart too much coil to a hose for my liking. And I have no room for a HUGE reel.

Wrestling a 50' hose with wet hands, especially after wearing yourself out power washing all day, is a major task for me. In the past I'd have to laid out one big coil on the ground, hold it in place with one foot, and continue rolling it up that way.

Recently I bought the cheapest hose reel I could find, mounted it on the power washer handle, and viola! Problem solved. Now when I need to wash something down, the washer, hose, and tips are all right there in one place.

One of the most aggravating things ever invented. That hose is a workout for me.

Nice looking unit
Could you make the bracket better or just make new bracket to fit your needs.

I just coil it up and hang it somewhere. Same as IT above I blow my hose and washer out and I fill the washer with plumbing antifreeze when I store it. Figure it'll displace any water as well as hopefully stop any corrosion............Mike

It's gets even worse when you were raised to clean tools before you put them away, and that includes the pressure washer hose. Worst are the heavy fabric like skinned hose!

Problem solved.

It's not what I wanted, but it is the logical place for it.
