I have repaired/rebuilt quite a few Deere powerflow systems but just found myself involved in repairing one on a Toro 44-17HXL
I like the overall design vs Deere, drive pulley is on the INSIDE of the blower/impeller housing.
The question: Toro uses a Sturdy STEEL blower/impeller vs the hard plastic used by Deere. I'm tempted to toss the steel one in favor of the plastic one from a Deere.
Also, Toro doesn't use a keyed drive pulley, COMPRESSION nut...
