Powertrac HuntVee 6x6 ?

Any comments on Powertrac's 6x6 huntvee? Dad just bought one but it seems heavy for its power. Seems to have trouble trurning while climbing up hill. Any reviews? Tks--

dad took over 2 years looking at other 6x6. he is 72 and did not want a "4wheeler" Liked the hyd power and not the chain and belt drive of other 6x6 on market. I asked the question to those who have used or know about the Hunt vee via experience. Quess you do not own one. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You might try www.Route6x6.com for reviews of the current model. There were some rather negative reviews on that site a while ago, but they may have been for the earlier rear- engine version, the ATV-6000; mostly that it did not do well in water (ie float).

That site does cover all the current as well as older 6x6 and 8x8 AATVs. I have an ARGO 8x8 and considered a HydroTraxx which is full hydraulic and much heavier duty (many comercial users) than the ARGO or MAX, but also much more expensive (2X to 3X the HuntVee). Does offer lots of power options up to 45 HP Kubota turbo diesel though!
