Good job on the continuing list, PJ! More than a hundred of us!

Something I've wondered: How much of the PT ownership is represented here? Are we 2% of PT owners or 20%?

If anyone knew the sales figures from Tazewell we'd have a close estimation. And of course, anyone owning a PT and not checking this forum is missing much valuable information concerning their equipment.

Anybody ready to hazard a guess?

Just a guess on my part but I would think that list only represents a very small percentage of their sales.
Heck, if they only sold a hundred or so they would never have been able to build the new facility. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif Your right about any buyer not knowing about TBN and the PT forum.

When I bought my 422 in 2000, I asked how many had been sold in total. The sales guy made a guess (very rough guess) of 4000. I am sure that they have sold a lot since then and he was not really sure of the numbers. So that makes us TBN'ers a small percentage, unless all of the anonymous users are different people every few days.

I would suggest that a large quantity of the PT's are owned by city or state facilities and they just use and maintain them. In that situation, no one would join the PT forum, since it is not a personal thing to relate use and experiences. I saw one in Jacksonville, Fl a while back being used by the state. It was on the other side of the highway, and I didn't stop.because traffic was heavy.
