Pre-owned F250-kicking the tires

Flusher do you know the Albrights? If so I think they were selling a few fords or mercurys. There are a lot of ranchers up there that are selling their trucks. A rancher I know down here who also owns a few ranchs up there is selling his f250 crew his name is John Rassmussin. You might want to ask him if you know him.

Don't know either of them. I'll ask around. Thanks.

Yep, I remember.

When I filled up the F150 yesterday, 87 octane was $3.13/gal, diesel was $2.87/gal. Things change.

Around here (South Central PA), Diesel is between $2.60 and $2.90. Some stations sell it for the same price as 87 octane gas, others have it priced the same as their price for 93 octane gas. I don't find fuel availability to be a problem when I have 50% more range. I just don't wait until it is on "E" to fill it.

I guess its a farm belt thing but I can not think of a gas station for a 100 mile radius from my house that does not have diesel and kero. I guess we take it for granted here in Indiana. By the way gas 87 octane $2.39, Diesel $2.89, and Kero is $2.99

LOL, I thought a little diesel behind each ear helped attract women where I came from. :D Yeah, yeah, I know, some of them had more fingers on one hand than teeth, but it still attracted them. :)

On my Ford 7.3 I always wait till it gets to E. Then I switch tanks:) and let the other get to a half.
Just got back to Alexandria, Va from a short road trip down to Jackson, MS ($2.20/gal), Memphis, TN ($2.55/gal) and in No Va. along highway 81 it's $2.50/gal. Since my VW JSW TDI gets a routine 40MPG plus so I'm not to worried about the diesel price yet.

But my Ford Maxivan only gets 16MPG and less when towing. So I'm trying to find an excuse to get an F250 or Dodge 2500 Diesel to tow my ride and more.
(Six months ago I wanted a Cummins dually, but now my BIL lets me drive his truck, so the dually need is not quite as bad.)

Where are you peeps finding the trucks? CL? word of mouth? Paper?
