Treat it just as you would the Deck on your Home, if of course you have a deck, I usually have a little Thompson water sealer left over in my sprayer, I'll just empty it out on my trailers deck,
Nothing wrong with taking care of your investment, right! They're a few grade qualities of P/T lumber , some need longer to dry-out than others, some lumber has sit on the pallet long enough to have partly dried out, when I build decks I try to hand pick the lumber and get the clearest not free boards that I can find as well as having been mostly drying out ( lighter in weight ) and has already shrink some, usually by this time I can tell if they are on the stage of warping/cupping and will simply cull them, When I'm finish building a deck the homeowners will ask how long before sealing it? somehow they think should wait 6 months, I'll inform them that I use dryer lumber and that should seal it in about 90 days, Depending on the weather/rain, and at least 1 week after any additional rain, or when you can see the grain of the wood grain start to slightly open is a good time to re-coat, it can absorb into the grain much easier, if the boards are too wet the sealer will just lay on top and not get good penetrations, This is when using 5/4 decking boards,
You of course have used 2"X boards so it might take a while longer to dry out, however still the same principal involved when to know it's time to seal it,
