Pressure washer advice

I'm in the market for a pressure washer, willing to spend about $500. Local options are;

TSC - Generac with Briggs & Stratton engine, 2800 PSI, 5.75HP for $350 (close-out model) or 2900 PSI with 6.5HP for $480 (new model)

HD - Excell, 5HP Honda, 2600 PSI, $400, or a Ryobi with 7HP Subaru engine, 3000 PSI for $500

The Ryobi has more bells & whistles as standard features (cord reel, lots of on-board storage, folds-up to store, etc) but is a fairly new 'Home Depot only' product - or so I'm told. This will see use on my own home and light-duty commercial use.

Anybody have first hand experience with these?

As I have said many times but it is certainly worth repeating, for most homeowners chores, go for GPM over PSI. I would rather have a 11 HP at 4.4 GPM and 2500 PSI then a 11 HP with 3.5 GPM at 3500 PSI anyday. The same applies to the smaller models. I am planning on selling my 13 HP Honda /CAT pump with 4.0 GPM and 3500 psi direct drive for a MiTM or Landa 11 HP Honda belt drive with 4.4 GPM and 2500 PSI. They are that much better.

I am in the market also! My requirements are a Honda GX engine, Cat or Comet pump with adjustable pressure.......$500 won't get it though. Think I've reserved the fact that I'll go $1000. Here are some of the ones I've been looking at along with the Northern Tool pressure washer site. Probably going to go with the 4000psi, 3.5 gpm! BTW....Ebay has some nice ones if your interested......
