Price Check price check 2544cc with 30 hours

I don't have a current price guide for OPE and have a customer wanting to trade a year old GT2544 with hydrostat and 30 hours on it on a new Dixie Chopper. he said he gave a little over 3,000 for it when he bought it. What would be a fair retail price for such a unit? Many thanks!

A new 2544 lists for $3499. Just the way I look at it, a 30 hour one year old unit would suffer at minimum it's "off the lot," depreciation of 20-25%, so $2800-$2600 would be a fair price range. From what I see on E-Bay units that fit the almost new criteria sell for (actually SELL through the auctions) that formula seems to be fairly accurate.

It might seem ridculous, but there are for sure a few scratches and dings in it, some belt wear, and it's less a year of warranty- I'm also not sure if Cub's three year warranty is transferrable.
