Price Check 3015 HST

Good day! I'm looking seriously at the 3015HST w/FEL, a model Mahindra is
discontinueing but the fit for me is much better than the 3215.
I've been quoted ( without much pencil sharpening) 15,200. from one dealer
and a little higher, but with room for negotiation from another. How are
these prices looking?

Dear confused, just what is the nature of your dilema here? In 2005 I paid $15000 for a 2615 HST with FEL. Would I have bought the 3015 for only $200 more? You bet! That's just $50 more per horse.

Are you concerned because the 3015 is being discontinued? I surely wouldn't be. The entire 15 series is fully dealer supported.

I would grab it before someone else does.

I bought my 2615 Gear from the Dealer in Newberg and he has given me good service and support. The prices you are getting seem fair and accurate.

The 2615/3015 series have been around a long time (at least 10 years) as they were previously sold by Cub Cadet. You will be able to get parts and service for these tractors for a long time. They are manufactured by Mitsubishi and sold internationally as well.

I would jump at that price for a 3015. It is a really good tractor and I think both the dealers are probably good guys to deal with.

Thank you both for the feedback. I thought it was a good price, but since I didn't price out others in the line (with the exception of the 3215) I had no way of knowing the price in relationship to other Mahindra models. This will be my first tractor purchase, so I'm a bit anxious. 15k isn't a lot of money for a tractor after looking at what someone can spend, but it's still a fair chunk of change out of my pocket!

You'll want to jump on the 3015HST soon if you are going to do it. I think there are only 2 left in West Coast distribution stock as of yesterday. There might be a couple more on dealer's lots. Once gone, there aren't any more.

Theresa, just curious, why do you think you need a tractror in the 30hp range? You could get a 2615 for about $100 less. And for much less there is the 2015. Let me know where this 3015 is, and I will buy it, it is priced way below what it is worth. If I didn't already own a 2615, I would jump on this deal. Also, I prefer the larger fuel tank, and the way it is located behind the seat. Five gallons of diesel may be enough for some users. Seven works better for me. Knowing what I know about the 15 series in general, you will have a difficult time finding and unhappy owner on this forum.
