Got a bid from local Kubota dealer for B2630/FEL/block heater/delivery/0% interest 60 mo...

Note that the dealer said the 2630 had special dealer support of I think $1000...but the dealer did not tell me the 2630 and 3030 are either have been or are being discontinued...not too nice :)

Quote was $18,000.

What have you paid for the B2630 w/FEL???

Not sure that is the model I will end up with but I need a price check on the dealer...remember the $1000 dealer money likely is "recent" incentive to clear the 2630s from the inventory...and maybe the 3030s?

Thanks in Advance...TMR

It's an awesome tractor, top of the line, feature wise. I honestly don't think the price is that far out of line. Have you gotten competitive bids from Barlows or anyone else?

Again, it wouldn't bother me that they are discontinuing it. They discontinue everything about every 4 years anyhow.

I think that's "way" high especially considering there's an additional $1000 coming off from the factory. I think you need to contact Barlows Barlow Equipment - Home of the Kubota Tractor Package Builder to see how much high he is.

Thanks John...e-mailed Barlows earlier today...will be curious about their reply.

I used to work with the dealer/owner b4 he bought the dealership...great guy...BUT...when I asked about his pricing policy all he said was something about providing good service and needing to make a profit. That is usually code for...I won't discount like some dealer will ... :)

I am willing to pay a bit more to buy locally but not "very" much. I might even consider picking up as I am "semi" retired and might enjoy a trip...and I plan on buying a trailer to match the tractor weight. Actually have a 3500# single axle 7'x10' with 2x6 planking floor. BUT I think it is likely that I will "go big" enough that I will need a dual axle.

Thanks Again John...I enjoy monitoring your collection...TMR

Thanks BP...I did e-mail Barlows earlier today...will see what they say.

I did like the 2630...I am having "size" issues...you may have read prior threads.

I think I want to stay with 60" attachments for maneuverability in the woods...but I am a "bigger is better" guy and keep "reaching" for something a bit heavier/larger than the 2630. ALso, haven't been able to drive a B3030 to see if it has the "vibration" talked about on TBN. I did drive a B3200 and it did have a very bothersome "buzz" in the steering wheel and elsewhere...B3030 is a 4 cyl (vs 3cyl B2630) but some say it does not have the vibration.

I need to drive the L3200/3400/3800 as other say they also do not have the vibration...seems to be B3200 issue.

So many models and I have an "analytical disease"...or so says my wife :)

Thanks...TMR

Did she say analytical or ****? Now be truthful.:laughing:
I just noticed the xx30 after BP responded. I still think it may be high but maybe not as high as my first impression. The 30 is the deluxe B models and are way high, to me, than they should be for the additional features. Just one mans opinion. I had a Grand L3240 and the 40 is the deluxe in the L series and it had some nice deluxe features.

Tmr look at the L's I just bought an L4400 for not much more than the B you priced with a loader and tooth bar

JT is right. Bxx30 were not cheap. Perhaps, this is why they are being discontinued, as sales were never as strong as Kubota wanted, I'd guess.

I just bought the xx20, so it's easy to see that deluxe features aren't worth enough to me to deepen my payment. That said, I would have LOVED that B2630 for position control, extending arms at the lower links, etc. IIRC those features are on them.

That would absolutely be the largest tractor I could ever use on my property, doing the tasks I do. Nimbleness and light weight are big requirements for my chores, proving again that everyone has different goals.

BP...what are your basic uses. I like nimble but keep getting drawn to larger...seems like I may want to push down a bunch of trees :)

Am interested in what you use your tractor for? Thanks...TMR
