Thinking about selling my Century 2535. It has 700 hours, well maintained, 4x4, bucket loader. What is a reasonable amount to ask? Not in a huge rush, but don't want to waste my time and ask a price that nobody will pay either. Is $9500 in the right ballpark? Not sure of the year - this tractor was included with a farm I bought. Where is the data plate so I can find that info?

I have the same tractor with just a few more hours on it, but I have no idea what it would sell for. I doubt that I'd ever sell it. I saw a 45 hp one at auction with the FEL and 4x4 with half the hours yours has sell for $8,000 a couple years ago. If I had the cash, I would have jumped in and bought it just because it was so cheap.

Honestly, I really like the tractor and have had relatively few issues with it. I'm just worried about parts availability in the future. There used to be two dealers within 2 hours of me but they have quit carrying Branson/Century. Ordering parts online seems to be a struggle. Do you find you are able to get the parts you need relatively easily? A lot of people have a lot of good things to say about these tractors and they are admittedly extremely good value considering the cost of a comparable JD or Kubota.

At $9500 I am getting multiple calls per day from people wanting to come look at it. I have 3 potential buyers lined up for tomorrow. That tells me I am probably on the low side of the price scale.

That just means you don't budge much when it comes time for the final "dickering".

The only things that I've had problems with are the fuel pump and the hydraulic tank under the floor pans for the power steering. I found a metal tank to replace the plastic one that kept breaking online, and I switching out the mechanical fuel pump to an electric one for diesels fuel from Mr Gasket. Otherwise, it just keeps on going and going. Dealers seem to come and go all the time in my area. A new one just opened up South of town with a very large inventory. Before that, I've had probably close to a dozen dealerships open up with a couple of tractors, not inventory, and then disappear in a year or two. I don't think I'd buy Branson/Century again just because they seem to be able to keep dealerships open.
