Hey guys I've been a forum "lurker" for a few year now...I think I'm ready for my first Kubota purchase. I'm looking at the B7800 and I find out it is being phased out. What is a GOOD price for a new B7800 with 60" MMM and FEL with 54" Bucket? Say with R4 tires as well.

I was thinking a deal would be about $15,000? Let me know what you think.

Thanks a bunch!

A B7800 is a true workhorse. Phased out or not. Two years ago I paid $11,800 for this tractor with R4 filled tires and an additional $3,400 for the loader (60" bucket). If you can get a B7800 with R4's (filled), FEL, and MMM for $15,000 I would consider this a very good bargain. I'm a RFM mower person so I didn't get the MMM.

In 2006 with your described setup except for turfs on mine, I paid $18k out the door.

I'd say $15k is a decent price. It's a good worker. No complaints here on mine other than the safety neutral switch on the hydrastatic pedal (apparently an inherent problem on quite a few of them) but that is a very minor detail.

My 50 hour service (by me) was as clean as a whistle aside from a few small shavings in the transmission strainer. It's easy to service and provides a good work tool. The only thing they don't tell you is that you'll need a 26mm socket to get the strainer loose.

Contact Barlows Equipment. I believe you can get the B7800 or B3200 for below $15000. I had a B7800 for 3 years and a great machine. Only problem was FEL bar over fuel tank lid and making sure HST pedal was dead center for starting.
