I'm thinking of buying an Imatch for my 3320. I've heard they cost around $250.00 new from a dealer. Is this close to what you folks have paid? It looks like it's a great idea. I currently only have a jd ballast box so I'm not that worried about fittment issues others have had. I plan on getting a rake and box blade.I was going to buy frontier so I imagine they fit together?

It is the best $250 you could ever spend. Honestly, I would have bought one at double that price. Also, check with your dealer. Sometimes they will have an I match come in on a trade-in that is used. They can often give one a bit off on this. Also, check around on line and see if you can shop around a bit. The I match is easy to attach yourself if you have the pins, etc. so you are not dealer bound unless you just wish to be.

So $250 is the going price then?

List price on the web site is $244... Mine was part of a package with my tractor. It's easily one of the best purchases I've made.

I paid $212 and that was 10% off so $235 here. Awesome purchase. You will not regret it!

My dealer gave me a little break at $239 but like everyone has said it's worth twice the price.

I bought a Chinese made clone for $69 from Harborfreight tools but the problem is it's too bulky (the hook in particular) to fit all the components. I also had to grind out the cast fittings to get them to fit, etc. I ended up buying the I-Match due to the hook not fitting (no good solution to that). I do intend to use it to make a front loader mount implement mover so I'll get some use out of it but I learned my lesson - don't cheap out.

so can the imatch be used on all brands of attachments? or only JD items?

I picked up the Imatch today and it was worth it. It makes life much easier. The bushing kits was a good idea. As for fittment of other brands it apears that if you don't mind buying the bushing kit for all the attachments you buy (deere or not) the Imatch will work. I specifically asked the dealer while making the purchase( since I was about to pull the trigger on a woods york rake while I was there) and he assured me there would be no problems fitting other brands to the Imatch.

Although there still may be issues with various equipment fitting the i-Match, it still ranks as one of the best investments you can make (along with car haulers to set the implements on). I've only had two attachments not fit immediately - one was my Buhler 72" Finish mower and they had a modification kit for it, and the other was my JD Ballast Box that my dealer cut/welded/painted to fit for me (minor charge).

I believe I paid $225 for mine - and I bought it at the same time I got my MX6.. Hooking/lugging that beast was a real chore until I got the i-match.. now I unhook, hook, etc., really fast! And I don't wrench my already twisted back in the process.
