Price Check Price check for DX33 (TC33DA equiv?)

I am looking at a Case DX33 Hydro with FEL. It has 358 hours and looks good with no major abuse. I believe its a 2005/06.

I think its the same as a TC33DA. Any idea on a decent price?

I think its a tad high but take a look at tractorhouse.com for some equivalents

This dealer is always high, I honestly do not see how he stays in business.

I can buy a comparable new tractor for basically similar money in a different color.

Where are you located? May make a difference on the price. That seems about right for where I'm at, NW Missouri. I keep seeing members posting prices that seem like a steal compared to the quotes I was getting while looking for a DX45 w/cab. Just for your info, when price shopping for my 45, I was offered anywhere from $14K to $15.5K trade for my 05 DX33 with FEL and MMM.(I ended up working a little better deal on mine) Now add in the dealers cost/labor to service, fix any minor issues, etc when they take in a trade plus profit on the sale and I think your dealer is in the ballpark.

Are you sure it's comparable? I'm getting ready to pick up my 3rd case in 4 years. My 1st two have been solid and 100% reliable. I'm sold.

Central IL, may be in the ballpark but I had a hard time with it when I could get a JD 3320 new for just a little more. I went the new route. Thanks for the input.

Can't argue with that. And that 3320 is more than comparable. Great machine. Good luck. I think you'll be surprised how much you can do with that tractor. The only reason I'm upgrading is that I'm turning 6 acres into lawn. I'll have a total of 8-9 acres to mow and have been eyeing a woods 90" 3-pt mower.
