Price Check Price check on 2005 GT235

I'm going to look at the above with 169 hours on it and comes with a 48" deck and a 44" front blade. Asking price is $3200.

I'm also considering a new X500 but this looks like a good deal on a good tractor. From what I've read the GT235 is a very dependable tractor....right?

It is a good mower but have you seen this specific unit? My concern is whether the regular maintenance was done and how well it has been cared for. I looked it up on Deere's site and tractordata before responding, the asking price is a large portion of a new unit available today. If the mower is in good shape I would say it is a fair price but I would make a lower offer.

I posted a few weeks back asking about an X340 vs X500. If I buy new it will be the X500. With the current sale the 500 is $5400, throw in the blade for $777 and I'm at almost $6200.

I good low hour GT235 for half price seems attractive. I've seen pictures and it looks clean but have not seen it in person yet.
