Price check on a chopper

Has anyone ever priced a Bearcat 5” PTO chipper? Looking at model # 70554, I’m being quoted $5,800 and it seems high. Any help would be appreciated.

That's about what I paid for a 6" Wallenstein with hydraulic feed.

That is high - I picked up a 73554 (which is a better design if you want the discharge chute) for <$4,000. The 70554 w/o the chute/blower should be less - try a seach here others have that unit
