The pic of the toothbar I posted previously is the EXTRA HD one specially made for JD's HD bucket with the bolt on cutting edge. What would something like this be called? Maybe a "killer." It sure acts that way when I dig up brush and shallow rooted saplings. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif This is a wonderful attachment that when added to a FEL can improve operating efficiency manyfold.

You're right Gary. Hadn't thought about that. Still....it's a pleasant ride to the KC dealership and when there one can spend at least a couple hours walking around outside inspecting all the fine new and older machinery and learning a lot in the process.

I just went through this, pick up the toothbar on Saturday. I got the "standard" duty (BK12) one for a 61" wide bucket on a 35hp CUT. $266 for toothbar and $50 shipping IL to MI.

I can't see any way to break this one, they look like construction grade and is reflected in the price.

Sounds just like mine. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif The price sounds about the same, too. I agree with you about them being construction grade. Actually, FFC builds these in stock sizes for skid steer loaders and then 'customizes' them for our compact tractor buckets. Needless to say, if they're strong enough for SSL buckets, we're not likely to hurt them with our buckets. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
