Price check on used 990 package

There's a 2002 John Deere 2WD 990 for sale locally. The tractor has 480 hours and comes with a bush hog, box blade and landscape rake. The seller is asking $10,000.

I don't have more details on the implements, but the tractor is supposed to be in great condition. I'm not really concerned about the implements since I already have all of the above. I really want to just buy the tractor and sell the implements if the price is right.

Is $10,000 a fair price for just the tractor, or should I offer less?

I'd guess that's a 2WD tractor. The price is good (if not great, considering the implements are in the deal).
If you ever decide to add a loader, or work in mucky areas, you'd regret not having 4WD.
The box blade may give you some problems with a 2WD machine, but you shouldn't have any problems using the cutter (bush hog) or the rake. You will want front ballast of some sort when raising the cutter for transport.

If you're serious..don't delay. That tractor and implements will sell fast.
