So I got a good friend thinkin about buying a new tractor.
What would a guy expect to pay for a 2006 2910 or 3510 with a loader?
I got a quote from my dealer even though it wasnt the same guy
who sold me mine, I'm thinking he could maybe get it cheaper
than the $16500 quote I got over the phone for a 3510 with loader.

I also got a quote of $16,500 for a 3510 with loader over the phone. I would expect a little less with some negotiating. He claimed he would sell all attachments at cost, if purchased at the same time as the tractor.

Another dealer quoted me $12,500 for a 2910 with loader. I think this dealer, isn't much of a dealer. He has had the same tractors sitting around for a couple of years. I only know of one he sold, but he could have sold more. I'm thinking he just wants to dump the ones he has.

If he is selling it at 12,500 he is selling the tractor loader below his cost. Could it be used?

12,500 for a 2910 w/ loader is a real good price. Down here we price a 2910i w/ loader at $17,200 and the 3510i w/ loader at $17,900. I also have a used 2810 TLB for about $15,500.

It has never been sold, but I think it might have ten or twenty hours on it from demos or mowing. I'm pretty sure it's at least two or maybe three years old, but still on the showroom floor.

I was going to buy a 2910 when I first was looking, but the 3510 was only $500 more. I couldn't see giving up 6 h.p. for that little bit of difference in price. I also believe that I am not the only one that thinks this way...mine is a 2005 and I got it for $15400 out the door. But the prices did go up after that thanks to the sharp rise in the cost of steel.

I purchased a 2910i new with an fel and a rear blade for right at 16k in 2006. I have about 20 hours on it and love it. I have had zero problems (knock on the downed tree I am pulling). I am buying more land an upgrading to a larger Branson tractor. I do not believe I will ever buy anything but Branson again. I am gonna let go of my 2910i for what I owe on it. If you or anyone else ya know is interested, give me am email. Oh yeah, $12900 seems mighty cheap for even a used tractor with only that many hours, I would certainly ask many questions before drving that one home.

Since we are on the subject.;) What kind of trade in value should one expect for a 3510 in great shape with fel, 150hrs and dealer serviced. Maybe thinking about up sizing.
