Price for a L3940HST-3

Hi guys,

I found an add for a L3940HST with following:
- No loader but has the Front Loader Valve
- Double Rear Remote Valves
- 280 hours
- build 2008

The owner asks $21000CAD (tax in). What do you think, good price, too high? Any opinion?

Not too bad with the tax in.They list new for about $26,000+$1,000 for the rear remotes.FEL will cost $6,000 or so if you want/need one.

-Doubt it is a -3 if it is a 2008 model. Search here and you will find difference in -1 and -3.
-Loader valve is standard.
-I paid $1150 for 2 remotes installed.
-I paid $19375 for L3940HST-1 new in 2009.

It's hard for those of us in the US to help out when it comes to prices in Canada. I think the first question you should ask is "How important is a loader to me"? If you are sure you can live without a loader and if some of our other members north of the border chime in about prices I would take into account that trying to sell a tractor without a loader will drop it's value by the price of the loader plus about an extra 10%.
