Price Check Price for BEFCO??

Second posting.

Have a chance to acquire a unused BEFCO C50(60 inch) - is new but is several years old. Will be mowing about 4-4.5 acres. What would be a good price - I have been made, what I feel, is an outstanding offer. The mower was an overstock item.

There is a 4-foot one on TractorHouse for $600 and a 6-foot one for $850. Those are asking prices which can probably negotiated downward somewhat. Depending on condition, that should give you a range to start with.

i ran one of those till it rusted through. it was abused when i got it. i would but it again if the price was right. parts were high. i am thinkin like pappy.

A price that you can afford and a price the seller is Happy with it. If its in perfect condition you will be a very happy man. We got a finishing mower used with one of our tractors and I just love it. Within s few months of use it started to throw belts and also the pulleys are falling through the deck. I will be welding up the pulley drives to the deck and replacing the belt etc. I will be happy to use it again after that on my own property.

Hope you can agree on a good price for that mower. I enjoy mowing with my tractors more than a riding lawnmower!!!
