Price for four foot rake?

Have a local ad for a four foot rake. Definitely no where near a new one, looks fairly weathered. Ad says make an offer (along with some other implements). Guess I could offer anything to start the process (which I hate--just tell me how much!)

Question in the title of the thread. Sorry for making it confusing. Seller wants an offer, no price listed. How much for a older 3pt rake, make unknown.

$50-$75 to start...see how he takes it.

Before you go over to see it, get some prics on new 48" rakes, then set a top dollar amount you're willing to pay.

I agree with Roy...I think $300 would buy a new 4' rake.

Check for bent tines.

A 4' rake seems really small. These things don't take much power to use or lift.

Around here $300 will get a new 5' rake. Not sure of quality or make. In the process of having to re enforce mine as I noticed a slight bend begining to form. One more row of dimes and it will be heavy duty. I got it used for $250 and it is a 6'.
