Price Check Price of a used Kubota 3130?

I've run across a tractor in NC. It's a 3130 HST Kubota. It has the Kubota LA513 loader, R4 tires, and only 54 hours use. It's owned by an equipment rental shop. It's either a 2003 or 2004 model. I've been told I could have it for $14,900 as it sits. I know a kubota service man that works for the local dealership. I asked him to go look at it. He said it looked fine and that it was well maintained. I have no idea about prices of used tractors. I do know that a new 2005 tractor like the one above would cost me anywhere from $18,500 to $19,200. My question is.... is this a good price for the used tractor? Thanks in advance!!

With only 54 hours it is practically new and that would certainly appear to be a good price. Be sure that it has had its 50 hour service if you decide to buy, and see how much factory warranty is left as having the warranty would be a big plus.

In October 2004 I paid about $18,125 for a L3130hst with ag tires and the bigger loader, so that would compare quite favorably.

Well......I ended up getting it for $14,500. Thanks for the input.

Also, This wasn't used as a rental. The rental company took it as a trade in on a skid steer. That made me feel a little better about the deal also.

You got a good deal. I have a 2003 L3130HST that i bought new. I gave 13200 just for the tractor.

Curious if it included the 50 hour service and any warranty. Sounds like you got a great deal even if you not.

That is a very good deal. I have the 3130 with Woods loader.

Now that you have already purchased where in NC are you located?

Yes, the it has 2 yrs left on the warranty. The equipment shop owner said he would still honor a three year warranty.

As for the 50 hour service.....I'm not sure yet. That's something I'll make sure to ask. If not I'll just have it done myself. The main dealership is just .5 of a mile up the road from the equipment rental shop.

I was quoted $3900 for a woods loader on a new tractor. The Kubota loader brand new is $4100.

I had a quote for $14,400 for the tractor and $700 for R4 tires. That is just the first run. I had not fussed about the price yet. So, who knows I could've got it for a little less.

How has your tractor worked for you?

Hi Everyone ,

I have a L3130 in the garage, it sat for about a year but now it wont start.
Does anyone have a suggestion to how to get her running. The battery is charged and turns over. Could the fuel have gone bad?
Injectors dirty,,,?
