I am looking at a kubota L3130 fst transmission with LA 723 loader with price of $17,785. Should I keep checking dealers.
I am in Kentucky

I am new to this forum and don't know much about the ethics so I may be asking this in the wrong manner. Just have been looking and find that prices seem to differ from area to area.

those prices look good. as to the ethics, well, we live in a free market society driven by capitalism. the internet is the consumers biggest allie and best source of info. our jobs as consumers, it to get the best buy for our buck. that drives competition, innovation and ultimately the economy as a whole. dealer's profitablity is the dealer's problem, not the consumer's. the market place will decide which dealers and brands will survive........tough world

In October I paid $18,125 for an L3130hst, with 723 loader, no quick attach, standard 72" square bucket and filled R1 tires, delivered to my property.

That was the best price I was quoted from 3 dealers in the Louisville area, but many people on TBN have reported getting significantly better prices, so you probably can beat my my price. What extras or standard equipment are you getting in your quote?

Where in Kentucky did you get this price?

I think he was asking if it was OK (not rude) to ask people what they paid for their machines. It didn't sound like he was looking for a lesson on capitalism.

Prices vary with dealers depending on the type of dealer (volume oriented or service oriented). Very low price usually equals weak support. The low price seems just great until something goes wrong with your machine.

The price was from a dealer near Madisonville. I live in that genreal area and know the dealer to be a good one. I have gotten other prices that are in the same general range but just don't know enough about kubota to know if there is a better method of purchase for a better price. Thanks for the response.

That's my take on it too.
