price on 2615

looking for a 2615wFEL best i have found is 13400, or 3015 for 15000, does that seem to be good. i would like to find a good deal out of state to avoid the tax, but within 200-300mi driving distance. i have no close dealer and plan to move soon so i hate to spend the extra on tax. also looking at the branson and centurys. has anyone used the BH on one of these and if so is it reasonable to think that a small walk in basement could be dug with this setup.

Georgia doesn't have a sales tax on AG products, but you will have to sign a form, with address listed to be exempt. The only item I know of is the boxblade that is taxed, as they say it is used for "Lawn Care", and not an AG attachment, but the tractor, auger, plows, disks, brush hogs, etc. are all tax exempt.

So where do you think you will be moving?

Your price on those 2 pieces of equipment sounds good. Did you look at the other posts on 2615 prices?

If you aren't moving for awhile and can wait, (who can wait when you get the 'tractor' bug) why don't you wait until you have an address/location in NY and they use that new address to avoid the sales tax. You also might not do to bad on a price from a dealer up in that area. You could also do the reverse and buy one from a NY dealer using your NC address and don't pick it up until you move.
