Kubota B7610
My father-in-law borrowed my B7610 to move a huge pile of dirt he had left from geting his drive paved. Now he wants one. He has a couple of old Cub Cadet garden tractors, an old Dixie Chopper and an old Oliver that doesn't run most of the time. He said he was thinking about getting rid of all of that and having just one machine. He can afford it, his barn is overflowing so he could use the space, and I know he would love having a new Kubota. I want him to get one. But he is having a little trouble getting past the price. What is fair for a new B7510 or B7610 with a MMM and FEL. I figure if he knows he is getting a fair quote, it might help him take the plunge. I bought mine almost three years ago, so I am no longer up on the current market price.

A 7610 should cost 2k more.
Actually the base B7610 tractor is only $1000 more than the B7510. The LA352 loader is about $300 more than the LA302. For $1300 I would go with the B7610.

My B7510HST with FEL & filled tires with Rimguard was $12800. Probably could have done a few hundred dollars better but the advice and follow through was great.

I guess I agree regarding going with the B7610 with the LA352 loader since that is what I have and I love it. But I don't know if My Father-in-Law would spend the extra money. I think he would be happy with either, but he may be more likely to buy the B7510 if it is over $1000 less. I doubt that the B7510 is underpowered for anything he would do with it. So how about prices on a B7510 with FEL and MMM.

Approx 2 1/2 years ago I was quoted:
14,100 for B7510 w/302 loader & 60"MMM.
15,000 for B7610 w/352 loader & 60"MMM.

I took the the 7610 for $900 more for the better loader and extra HP. Glad I did. Really push the loader (and just plain use it) more than I would have thought.

If had had to do it now, I'd buy a B3030. Larger loader (LA302 - 48", LA352 -50" B3030 has a 54" or 60"), 50% more weight, creature comforts, larger tires.

It only hurts your checkbook for a few years, though the tractor will last a lifetime. Not to say I'm unhappy at all with my 7610. Just that the 3030 is a real nice size and weight. Though pricey.

Iwas quoted 2k more for a 7610. For 1,300 more I would have went for the 7610 too. I sometimes wonder if I should have gotten the 7800 cause I think I am hard on my 7510 to make it do what I need.

This spring I was quoted $15750 for a B7610 with 60" MMM, LA352 FEL, ballast box, turfs and a folding ROPS. I never asked for a B7510 quote.

djdowd Do you know how much a 302 FEL would add to that price?
