I am buying a 4030. It is the six cylinder model. With 5' bushog and 42" light scrape blade we are paying $5600 delivered. I think the tractor is around an '86-89.
The tractor appears to be in good working order and the hydraulics seem to work well also. The tractor stops but the brakes are a little soft. The body is in fair shape (some missing/ broken lighting) and the tires are around 50% (Turf tires). There is some blow by but it is not heavy.
The scrape blade is one step up from scrap, the bushhog is a King Kutter that looks in decent shape.
Seemed a fair deal to me. Did I do well or did I spend too much? I have not owned a tractor in 25 years. I remember that when these Kubotas came out they were pretty popular.
We are planning on using the tractor to bushog the 11 acres we have here, keep the driveway level, put in a fences and move trees and other heavy stuff around. I might disc the garden too.
