I have the chance to pick up the following tractor for 5K. I have seen pix, it looks great. What do you guys think of the price and descrip?

1999 New Holland TC33D 33 H.P., 4WD, Compact Tractor w/ Super Steer & 3 spd. Hydrostatic transmission. NH 7308 Front End Loader w/ tooth bar & 2 year old Woods RD7200 72 Rear discharge finish mower w/ chain guard. Options include R4 industrial tires, 2 sets remote hydraulic valves, folding ROPS w/ white sun shade, arm rests, rear work light, asst. step, engine block heater, suitcase weights on the front and rear wheel weights, all manuals, only 890 hrs., excellent condition. Used almost exclusively to mow grass. Stored in a garage.

I am wondering the same thing...I have sent a note asking to see it in person. I am planning to take a trailer with me if I go.

I'd be pretty wary. Scams are everywhere nowadays. Let us know what kind of response you get to your request to see it in person.

Obviously price is way low. also all that added weight does not seem like a mowing tractor!!!!!!!!!!!

Wonder if this tractor is "hot"...as in stolen. Check out the serial number and see if it's legit.

Can't believe someone would let it go for that price. Are they missing a digit in the price?

Yep, so cheap it's either a scam or stolen, or of course there's the very slim chance that a legitimate owner is in a hurry to get rid of it and doesn't know what it's worth.

What did you find out? I didn't see it listed on craigslist today. I'm assuming it probably got pulled. Craigslist is full of scams so be carefull.
