bobcat ct235
I live in upstate ny and got a price quote for a ct 235 of $23,000 which includes the front loader. we get a $2500 discount if we pay cash. The dealer is giving us $7000.00 for our trade ins which include a skidsteer and an ford 600 series tractor so the price comes down to about $15,500 or so. Are we getting a deal or should we look elsewhere? I think they jacked up the price a bit due to the trade ins, what does everyone think. Should we re quote it without the trade ins and try to sell them ourselves?

I think that you are paying yourself for your tractors. There is another guy getting a Kioti CK35 for $16,200. Bobcats are usually around the same price or even less. Go shopping at some more dealers and that way you will know for sure. I would not go with the first price that I got, do some more shopping just to be sure.

Good luck

debcpa28,

Down in SW Ohio, that $23,000 would probably buy you a CT440 if not the CT335 for sure. Sounds high to me. Give some of the dealers on here a crack at it!!!

Like MtnViewRanch said, shop around.

I think you are paying the guy to take your tractors. That price sounds way too high. I woud definetly shop around. I would think you could get one for around $15k without your trade-in. Give Rick from Wallace Tractor a call. You will see many of his posts in this forum. He is very knowledgable and has pretty reasonable prices. He is located in PA I think.

I think that is a bit high. I agree with the previous poster, to check with Rick Wallace.

I just paid 20,350 for a ct235, with loader, 66" blower, and pallet forks.

Just wait until kioti or bobcat go back on sale. They seem to take turns every couple of months.
