One way to get an idea of price is to go to Ebay, enter Yanmar, find your model number then do a search in the "completed items" section you'll find on the left hand side of the listings. You'll see what your model, or similar models have sold for recently. You can spend as much for a 1601D as you can some of the larger Yanmars. Keep in mind that parts can usually be found fairly easily for that model, but as in most grey market tractors, the prices will be higher. I suggest you really check out the grey markets before you buy. I had originally planned on buying a Yanmar in the range of 25-35 HP, but after talking with parts suppliers and looking/trying them out, I ended up going new Kioti with 3 year warranty. I still like the Yanmars, just didn't need the hassles. Also you can go to Yahoo Groups, search for Yanmar and look for the Yanmar tractor owner's group. TBNs and Yahoo's groups have a lot of good info. I think bottom line you should be able to buy a 1601D or similar for around $5500.00 based on my recent searching. Also, you may be able to find a larger Yanmar with loader for not much more as many people don't want the bigger ones, so the price is less. John
