I got a quote on a 3520 from my dealer today just to see what the numbers look like. I have a 4410 (160 hours), 430 loader, 72" MMM, and 48BH. 4410 has R4, ehydro, cruise upgrade, block heater, and high output alternator. The 430 loader has 72" HD bucket with replaceable cutting edge. The 48BH has the 18" HD bucket.

With discounts the 3520, 300CX loader, 72" MMM, and 447BH came to 31K. The 3320 with same attachments came in at 29K. The 3520 priced about what I paid for my 4410 a little over a year ago.

They are offering 21.5K for a trade on my 4410. Stating Deere is clearing inventory of the 4210, 4310, and 4410 with certain incentives. That is almost 9.5K less than what I paid for it.

In comparision. I traded a 4310 on my 4410 about a year ago. The 4310 was about a year old at the time. I paid about 21K for the 4310 new and was offered 19.1K. I was very happy with that offer.

If there trade offer on my 4410 was on par with there past offer on my 4310 we might be close to a deal.

Some other notes. I'm asking the dealer to check on the 448 as that is what I wanted. JD parts shows mounting hardware for the 3520 for the 448. It doesn't list the 448 with the 3520 on the build your own site.

Craig, my guess is that the 3520 isn't that much more machine than your 4410. But it might actually be significantly better than what the specs on paper suggest. It'll take actually using one to tell.

But it IS posible that your 4410 will be worth a lot more than the dealer is thinking, sisnce the new engines have somewhat de-tuned performance....

It seems that can get 45xx to 47xx size tires on the 3000s which is a big plus.

Craig,
A bit off the subject, but can you tell much difference in the performance of the 4410 you have now and the 4310 it replaced?

Performance is close but I did notice a difference at times. While mowing in deep grass or up hills. The 4410 seems to hold RPMs a bit better. Loader seemed just a bit stronger. I didn't have the 48BH on the 4310 so I can not compare in that regard. I think over-all the price difference sold many more 4310 units.

It looks on 3X20 series there is more of a HP gap between models.

I got an E-mail back from my Dealer and he provided an updated quote on a 3520 with the 448 backhoe. It looks like there are kits to attach the 447 or 448 backhoe to the new 3X20 series. No change on my trade value as yet but at least the communication still flows.
