Prices for JD 2210 and Kubota BX2230

I am looking into either the JD or Kubota (would prefer the JD). It is going to come down to price. I am getting it with front loader and box scraper (already have the JD mower). What have some of you paid?? Would you choose one over the other?? I have 5 acres, 3 1/2 usable. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Neil is saying if you try the search engine in the forum you will find more information that you can possibly need to answer your question. My package deal for the BX2230 I got included options that you don't want. If were not comparing apples to apples it gets a little tough.

Try the search and see how you do.

Check both the JD and Kubota buying/pricing forums. In the search, you can either choose a particular forum, or all forums. Make sure at the bottom that you specify a time span to search in as the default is only about newer than 1 week or so. I usually put in 6 months. I think you will find that most people will agree that these two machines are pretty comparable. So with that being said, only YOU can decide which works the best for you. Dealer is sometimes the deciding factor, location of user features, color, the fact that you already are leaning toward JD all have there weighting factors.

I personally started out figuring on the JD and ended up with the Kubota. My reason came down to a quality unit for the right price. My family had JD's for many years.

If I ever buy another one it will be the same process, except I will probably expand my search to include a couple of the other MFG's.

Thanks all - you were right - guess I was a little premature in asking this before i looked around at the other forums!!! I believe I will be going with the JD 2210. I got a price of 13800 OTD with the fel, quick attach, and box scraper!

FYI, thats on the high side. A good price for that machine would be near 13k, the Kubota commonly sells for 12,500. What are you from? There are huge regional differences.

The differences are about $320 where I am. I got quotes from a local place of $13,200 for a JD and 12,900 For a Kubota. These were for tractor, FEL, Scraper, taxes and all that other stuff.
