Prices on 35hp

Can anyone tell me the difference between the CK35 HST and the DK35SE HST and the pricing for both?

Talked to my local dealer and he knew nothing about the new DK35SE HST model.

The CK35 is the same tractor as the CK25 and CK30 it has a KL130 loader with a 60 inch bucket and a lifting capacity of 1,155lbs at piviot pins.



The DK35hse is the new style DK series tractor with a larger chassie and a dual pedal hst system, the loader is a KL351 with a 66 inch skidsteer style quick attach bucket and a lifting capacity of 1,412lbs at piviot pins.

My dealer quoted me $16,200.00 for the ck30 and fel, and $17,800.00 for the ck35 and fel. Does this sound right? I haven't even bothered to call him back to ask why it's $1600 more for an extra 5hp?

Last spring when I was searching for a new tractor a dealer told me that 5 hp in a compact tractor is a big deal and you can notice the difference in many applications that you will use the tractor for, not a big deal in a big utility tractor that might have 100 or so hp. Only you can decide if the 5 extra horses is worth $1600.

The price in the ck30 is a good price, i think the ck35 should be about 1200-1400 more, thats usually the difference when changing 5 hp on the same frame.. I also really cant see the need for the ck35 unless you plan on using a 6ft brush hog as opposed to a 5ft for the ck30.. If you have a backhoe the extra hp may be noticable when climbing hills.. I can tell the difference when hauling around my Woods 80x hoe uphill as opposed to just a boxblade or ballast box. Im still curious about the pricing on the Dk35, and also if they are 38hp like the Kioti websight lists them at or if its a typo... Anyone have any info?

The CK35 uses the 1647cc engine and is rated at 34.8hp at 2800rpm.
The DK35SE uses a 1826cc engine and is rated at 38hp at 2600rpm.
