Price Check Pricing Grand L3240 HST

I got a quote for GL 3240 HST w/R4s and LA 724 fel w/ quick coupl and 72" bucket.

Also adding Long grapple RBG 66 w/ elec valve --($2641)
Total before tax is $23,341 delivered to my farm In Henry Virginia. Do you think I should keep shopping or is that about as good as I can do?

I plan to add a woods backhoe later. Will the 3240 handle the bh 90x or should I stay with the bh 80x.

Anybody have experience with the mechanical thumb -- how much and are they worth it?

I just posted in another thread that a L3940 ran me $21,330 with the skid steer and hydro. Might want to check around. Call Barlow's for a price. You might consider going that route with the BH90. It sure looks like a nice set up but haven't had a chance to use mine. The 724 loader adds a lot of capacity. You should be fine with the 3240. Would have went that route myself but have other uses on the PTO where I thought the extra power would be beneficial.

I got a quote about 2 months ago from the dealer in Newton/Conover NC, 3240 with FEL HST $17,900. I don't remember the name of the dealer bet they were on Kubota's website. Might be worth the drive.

Check out Mt. Airy equipment. Great price, great service and if you have any warranty work done (I have not- only 8.5 hrs on 4240 hst)they will pick it up and return it to you for no cost as well as bring a loner tractor if you need it!
