Pricing question for L3130

Hi all,

I'm helping my dad sell his '03 L3130 HST with LA723 loader & BH90 backhoe. The tractor has 290 hours on it and has been regularly maintained by our local Kubota dealer here in Manassas, VA.

I'm wondering what we might expect to fetch for something like this... I know the hours are pretty low for the mighty little 3-cyl diesel engine. And, other than a leaky valve-stem on the front tire, we've not had any issues with it at all. All service records are in tact along with the original bill of sale. It was purchased new in July of 2013.

For your information, I just took delivery of a 2004 L3130 with a LA723 loader, filled rear R-4s, but no other attachments. The tractor sold for $12500. It has 1000 hours, seems to be in good condition, and needs no service work. It was left outside, so there are faded plastic/paint issues, but otherwise, everything seems functional and good to go. Your dad's tractor, if it was kept clean and stored inside, with low hours like that might be a good bit more. Then, there's the BH, too. Prices seem to range all over the place, so good luck. I'd appreciate a link to any ads you post for it, just out of curiousity!

Justin, that looks to be a very reasonable price. If you haven't already, you might consider Craig's List, as well. I sold my 1988 B8200 very quickly that way, and probably could have sold two more, if I had them. A clean tractor, like yours, is easy to sell, I think.

I have it on CL as well, and have received a couple of LOW ball offers (as is to be expected when posting stuff on CL)... but it's only been listed for 3-4 days now. So I'll give it some time. Again, thanks for your feedback!

Funny in that sometimes stuff sells very quickly, sometimes not. My tractor, on CL, got responses from up in Penn. and over in Delaware, both guys sounded like serious buyers, but the first guy, who lived just up the road, grabbed it. All in the first day. Lots of photos, and a full description may help. I sold a Honda Civic Hybrid, again thru CL, very quickly when I tossed it on there just before taking what I thought was a low trade in offer. To a guy from Wisconsin. Go figure.
