PRIMING INJECTOR PUMP ON 5205
The fuel line cracked under the rear end of my JD 5205. The tank was completely drained. I knew I would have to reprime the fuel system. I changed the filter and pumped the prime pump... and pumped ...and pumped...no prime?! Left in disgust. The dealer said blow air into the tank. DON'T do that. It makes a huge mess. It finally dawned on me. I had added about 10 gallons to the tank. When I filled the tank full (1" below the top of the tank) the pump primed in seconds.
