Anyone have this kit installed yet..? I took my rubber chute off today and blocked the discharge with some plywood, and did not like it. Would still like to try this kit to keep stuff off my drive. Blocking the discharge with the plywood was a nasty experience, so I do not want to do it 24/7. The high lift blades and the mower deck design really moves a lot of air.... dust leaves, etc. I was covered in it in about fifteen minutes. My old Toro Z Master did not move as much air, and I got away blocking it. The deck still sucks all that air, but it comes out everywhere all around the bottom perimeter of the deck, thus the debris all over me. I want to keep the rubber chute on to get that krap away from me as much as possible whilst mowing...

I haven't added any kits to my Pro-Z 160 yet. I've given thought to adding the deck mulching kit to reduce the amount of clippings when cutting the lawn(s) I need cut. especially when the rain has limited my options on when I CAN cut, and the grass gets too high.
So far I haven't done it though - partly because my wife cuts a good portion of the lawn with our Husky 322T all wheel drive articulating mower with mulching deck. That mower's deck pretty much eliminates clipings for the most part.

I looked at the CC discharge chute closer, and it seems like a lot of work just to get the deck to not discharge clippings.
I'll be interested to see what kind of time it takes you to install it, and what your results are when done.

Got the kit installed. Probably took 4 hours [ over two days ], especially because I had to figure out where all the parts went/how to install them with the supplied information as a guide. You could probably put the hole for the handle in and install the handle without removing the left pod, but, I had time to take it off and looksee. The handle looks exactly like the one for the deck lift, and also locks with the push button like the deck lift. I could not see why they sent a new chute, till it dawned on me about the hole in the new one for the operating rod. The old one would fit if you did a little cutting on it someday.
