Well, I know that there are several CC owners on this forum. But the lack of activitiy here must mean that our beloved Cubs are completely problem free! It must make the owners of orange, green, and blue tractors very jealous. /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

Are you saying MTD is doing a good job of mfg them? How are the re-sale values holding up on CC's?

Yea, I guess all two owners are very happy!..............Sorry couldn't resist!/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Still, two owners with zero problems is a higher ratio of satisfaction than 25000 owners with 100 problems.

BTW, MTD doesn't manufacture them. Mitsubishi does. They just have MTD badging. Kind of like what Ford does for Mazda.

actually, re-sale value is not an issue for me. I'll have it till one of us is dead and buried. Like my Crown Vic... bought used with 11k miles... sold to my daughters boyfriend for $2.00 ... with 256K miles. I bought this 7360 with 90 hours. I won't speculate on where it will go.

a Profile Search reveals that there are an even dozen of us with Cub CUTs.... not including the Farmall Cubs and the CC lawn tractors.

Actually, that would be an interesting exercise for one of the moderators.... figuring out the percentage of TBN members with each brand. Maybe somehow that can be used to entice the scofflaws to fill out their profiles. /w3tcompact/icons/clever.gif

Good cars those Crown Vics......Mercury Grand Marquis.Good value for your money,if you can find a used one and let someone else suffer the depreciation, take care of one and they run and run.Lots of protection and comfort and room.Mechanics like them, because nothing much changes on them from year to year.

Rozett,

I don't think the resale on the CC is as good as the green or orange ones but I think the Cub is every bit of tractor they are. I too intend to keep mine a long time, unless I stumbled onto a hydro reasonable. You're right the Crown Vics are good cars. I'm kind of a Chevy guy but try to take care of all my 'stuff'. I just got rid of a Chevy Celebrity, 1987, I bought knew. Just about the most reliable car I've ever had. It had just turned 352,000 miles when I sold it, original engine and transmission. Ran great but the body started to go plus sticker times required more work. Hope the Cub is half as good as the Chevy.

Make that three. Bought my 7360 with 28 hours and I'm up to about 45 now. No problems to speak of. Them multifloral roses are wishing something would break though!
