Problem hooking the hydraulics up on my loader, B3350

Have had the loader off my B3350 since I got it, have been using it for mowing. Went to put it on today and I am doing something wrong, the middle remotes Red and Blue will not go on. Obviously it's under pressure, but I can not figure out how to relieve it, the two outside remotes go on easily.

Any help will be much appreciated..

A wooden dowel. Shop rag. Hammer.
Place wooden dowel in female fitting. Rap shop towel around fitting and dowel. Lightly tap wooden dowel with hammer striking the nipple in the middle of the female fitting.
Should be a small amount of hydro fluid in fitting.
Had this same problem Thursday. Removed loader in the morning and left it in the garage. Tried to reinstall loader
in the afternoon, and could not get two of four fitting to connect.

Make sure the FEL control is in float and motor off. Also found it easier to connect if I put the fel control in float before disconnecting the fel. I think it reduces the chance for pressure build up in the cylinders as it takes weight off of them. Just a guess on my part.

I tried the tap the nipple detent before and couldn't get it to work for me so I grabbed a handy open end wrench of the correct size and slightly opened/turned one of the fittings where a hydraulic line connects on the tractor and the pressure released and I tightened the fitting back up and mine connected easily then.

No, you are right, it's a good way to do it. But you also want to "burp" the curl cylinders too, which float won't do. Easiest is to simply move the loader joystick in all directions after the tractor is off. That will relieve pressure in both the lift and curl cylinders.

Had that happen to me when I left the loader in the sun. I ran cold water on the cylinders and lines and it then hooked up. That may or may not be an option for you.

I agree with all the above answers plus if the lines in question use an electric control switch such as a grapple switch on the stick you can turn the ignition switch on and then activate the switch in both directions. I also connect the lines on the implement together when disconnecting the implement to allow for pressure balance when unit is left in the sun

Thank you all for the suggestions, the tractor was setting outside, I actually just want to hook up the loader to move it into the garage. I will try the above and let you know.
